Insight Into Zoe's Life With F.A.M.E. Team 2016

Zoe is on a meteoric rise. She stepped on stage for the first time at Pro Hair Live in 2015 and less than a year later has made the cut for the F.A.M.E. Team and L’Oréal ID artists, as well as securing her place in the Ken Picton Art Team. Follow her journey and inspirations for early 2016.

Monday, 11th January: Zoe travels to London for a day of education with Mahogany

International Creative Director Colin Greaney and UK Creative Director Antony Licata introduced their brand to the team, including their latest collection Coquettes. Zoe and the others were then invited to take part in an interactive demonstration.

Throughout the morning Zoe was able to gain knowledge in cutting styles and techniques. Colin and Antony invited the team to ask questions throughout making it a really interactive session. This was a great opportunity for Zoe to put into practice the skills she'd had learnt.

Zoe says: Cutting short hair is my absolute passion, so I was thrilled to be beginning the year with what I love the most and learning up to date techniques and ways to make a point of difference on a short haircut.

Monday, 1st February: Zoe preparing with RUSH for F.A.M.E. Team's upcoming shoot

This is the third date on the ever exciting year with F.A.M.E. team for Zoe. This time she had a chance to learn from Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year Andy Heasman and Rush Editorial Director Tina Farey. It was another interactive day with Zoe being to ask questions throughout, while also trying her hand at this aspect of hairdressing.

In the afternoon Zoe and the rest of the team had an opportunity to focus their attention on their first collection together.

Monday, 8th February: Zoe and the F.A.M.E. Team get creative with hair extensions

Pete Statham, for Balmain Hair UK, kicked off the day with a brief background to the history of the brand and the link to fashion styling. Pete then covered the varied application techniques when it comes to using extensions, and he said “The Team were fantastic with all methods and were quick and keen to learn. It was brilliant being able to work with the future stars of British Hairdressing who soaked up the information like a sponge!”

Zoe says: This morning we learned lots of different uses of hair integrations with Pete, including permanent salon friendly services to quick additions for use in shows and shoots. The afternoon was spent with Errol Douglas MBE who demonstrated an array of looks, as well as giving us an amazing insight into the heritage of the F.A.M.E. Team.

The next date for Zoe with F.A.M.E. Team is Monday 15th February for their
very first photoshoot as a Team. We'll keep you posted!
