Preparing for Reopening: An Update

Wow! We were ecstatic to hear from so many of you this weekend – hundreds of clients have been in touch and we cannot wait to get our hands on your hair soon!

As a reminder, on Friday the Welsh Government confirmed that salons can start preparing to reopen, with a provisional opening date of Monday 13th July.

The Welsh First Minister, Mark Drakeford, said: “Hairdressers should use the next three weeks to make preparations to resume services by appointment-only with all the necessary safeguarding in place.”

With that in mind, we would ask you to please continue to be patient (thank you!) while we prepare the salon for a safe reopening for both you, our loyal and lovely clients, and for our fantastic team.

We are still awaiting specific guidelines from the Government, but here are the next steps we are now taking:

Week of 22nd - 29th june .

1. Deep clean and sterilisation of entire salon including water systems and air vents, implementation of social distancing and safety measures
2. Confirm rotas, prepare for the front of house team to return and process the many requests and emails .

Week of 29nd June onwards .

3. Front of house team to contact waiting list and confirm and rearrange appointments.

Please rest assured that we are working as hard as we can to arrange rotas and teams to see you all as soon as we can. We are also looking to implement late-night opening, seven days a week, to ensure that we can manage as many clients as possible while still maintaining social distancing and safety measures.

Thank you again for your incredible loyalty and patience - we can’t wait to see you soon!
